Boise State Football players square off in a charity softball game and home run derby on June 24

BOISE, ID: The Boise Hawks, Short Season Class A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, along with the Boise State Athletic Department have announced details about this year’s Bronco Summer Classic at Memorial Stadium on Monday, June 24, 2019.

Gates for the Bronco Summer Classic will open at 5 PM, with the two teams squaring off in the Home Run Derby at 5:30 PM. The six-inning game will start at approximately 6:30 PM, immediately following the conclusion of the Home Run Derby. Following the softball game, the Bronco football team will sign autographs for fans in attendance.

General Admission tickets for the event can be purchased by calling the Memorial Stadium Box Office (208-322-5000), in-person at the Memorial Stadium Box Office or online at BoiseHawks.com (https://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?orgid=52769&agency=MILB&pid=8718418). Adult tickets are $5 and children (12 and under) ticket complimentary. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Team Harsin Program, which generates scholarship opportunities for at-risk youth in order to participate in the Treasure Valley Optimist Youth Football Organization. A limited concessions menu will be offered at the event.
